BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
San Benito County Public Health Services has been providing COVID-19 vaccination related services to the community members at 351 Tres Pinos Road, Suite B in Hollister, CA. A fixed site has given the Health Department the control and flexibility to conduct vaccine clinics on a continuous basis and it has proven to be a suitable vaccination site.
The term of the lease is currently for 12 months beginning May 1, 2021 and ending on April 30. 2022 with the approval of Amendment #1 the term would be extended until June 30, 2023. Monthly base rent is $3,500.00 for a total of $42,000.00 for one year with approval of the Amendment, the lease value would add $49,000 bringing the total to $91,000. The cost of the lease will be paid with Epidemiology and Laboratory Capacity for Prevention and Control of Emerging Infectious Diseases (ELG) enhancing detection grant funds.

Authorize Board of Supervisor Chairperson to execute the lease Amendment #1.
