On February 24, 2022, the Russian Federation initiated its invasion of Ukraine involving ground and aerial attacks, which has resulted in the deaths of over 100 Ukrainian civilian adults and children so far, and hundreds more injured, according to the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.
