BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
In April 2021, the San Benito County Board of Supervisors approved the establishment of the 70-acre Riverview Regional Park located adjacent to the San Benito High School campus. With $750,000 of state funding secured by Assembly Member Robert Rivas, San Benito County will now be able to construct the proposed parking lot improvements.
This parking lot will be the first phase of construction for the park. The project will increase ADA accessibility to the park trailhead and install ADA compliant parking stalls.
The County processed an Environmental Impact Report for this project.
