BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
The County and the San Benito and Institutions Association (SBCIA) have met and conferred regarding modifying Article 8, Compensation of the SBCIA MOU. The Board of Supervisors has historically provided the similar wages, hours, benefits and other terms and conditions of employment as that provided to County employees who are represented by the various bargaining groups. Staff believes it is appropriate to extend those same wages, hours, benefits and other terms and conditions of employment to the SBCIA unit.

- Adopt Resolution, approving the side letter between the County of San Benito and San Benito and Institutions Association (SBCIA) modifying Article 8, Compensation of the SBCIA MOU and Direct the Chair of the Board of Supervisors and the County Administrative Officer to sign the side letter.
- Authorize the County Administrative Officer and County Auditor to take the necessary administrative actions appropriate to effectuate the purpose and intent of this action
- Authorize the County Administrative Officer and/or his/her designee to make any technical edits as later identified.
