AGENDA SECTION:
CONSENT AGENDA
BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
County Appointed Department Heads are not included in a formal bargaining unit. The Board of Supervisors has historically provided similar wages, hours, benefits and other terms and conditions of employment as that provided to County employees who are represented by the various bargaining groups. With the most agreements for all the represented groups concluded, staff believes it is appropriate to extend those same wages, hours, benefits and terms of conditions of employment to the County’s Appointed Department Heads.
