Approve Amendment #5 to the contract with M. A. Jones, Inc., dba Cleaning Services, Inc. for routine janitorial services at various County buildings, removing the Behavioral Health Building and Esperanza Center from the list of Departments that receive services. Contract amount will remain at the total not to exceed $616,571.00 for the current contract term to expire on June 30, 2022.

BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
On June 25, 2019 the Board of Supervisors approved a three-year contract with Cleaning Services (M.A. Jones, Inc. dba Cleaning Services) to provide routine janitorial services at various County buildings, for an amount not to exceed $519,828.00. There have been four previous amendments, as further described below, to expand services to various departments and to add new office locations. This amendment will remove the new Behavioral Health Department Building and the Esperanza Center from the list of Departments that receive routine janitorial services under this contract.

CONTRACT AND RFP HISTORY:
On October 8, 2019, Amendment #1 was approved to upgrade services provided in the County Library from two days a week to four days a week, for an additional $26,618.00.
On January 12, 2021, Amendment #2 was approved to add the Probation Department's Annex and Suites 101, 203 and 204 to the Health and Human Services offices at 1111 San Felipe Road to the list of County offices for an additional amount not to exceed $21,214.00 for the remainder of the contract term.
On June 22, 201, Amendment #3 was approved, to increase the total contract amount to an amount not to exceed $600,690.00, to provide additional services for the Homeless Services Center and UC Cooperative Extension offices, a new office location for Behavioral Health located at 1131 Community Parkway, Semi-Annual Carpet Cleaning and Window Cleaning at RMA, and entering correct Fee Schedule/correct list of Departments under the contract.
On August 10, 2021, Amendment #4 was approved to increase the total contract amount to an amount not to exceed $616,571.00, to provide additional services for the Public Health Vaccine Clinic at 251 Tres Pinos Road, Suite 201 to the HHSA Offices at 1111 San Felipe Road.
