The Planning Commission shall consist of five members who shall be appointed by the Board of Supervisors, one for each Supervisorial District. For any appointments after July 1, 2011, the Planning Commissioner shall reside, when appointed and during the term of the appointment, in the supervisorial district of the nominating supervisor. The appointment of each Commissioner shall be recommended by the respective supervisor from that District who shall place the name of his or her candidate in nomination. The appointment must be confirmed by a majority vote of the Board of Supervisors.
Parks and Recreation Commission: § 3.05.148 MEMBERS.
(A) The Commission shall consist of seven members. One member shall be selected from each of the five Supervisorial Districts. Each Supervisor shall recommend from his or her district one member to be appointed by a majority vote of the Board of Supervisors. One member shall be recommended by the Memorial Park Commission to be appointed by a majority vote of the Board of Supervisors. One member shall be recommended by the San Benito County Historical Society to be appointed by a majority vote of the Board of Supervisors.
