BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
On March 19, 2020, the County approved a contract with Cleaning Services to provide emergency cleaning and disinfecting services at various County offices, in response to COVID-19, at the rate of $15,724.00 per month for a total contract amount not to exceed $117,000.00. On May 8, 2020, the County approved Amendment #1 to add the OptumServe testing location at the Veteran's Memorial Hall, at the rate of $3,160.00 per month for a total additional amount not to exceed $15,800.00.
On October 15, 2020, the County approved Amendment #2 to extend the emergency cleaning and disinfecting services through June 30, 2021. However, the portion of the monthly fee attributable to cleaning the OptumServe testing site at Veteran's Memorial Hall was inadvertently removed. The services at that location have been ongoing, and that portion of the monthly fee needs to be reinstated.
This Amendment #3 will add the Probation Department's Annex to the list of office locations, for an additional amount not to exceed $225.00 per month through June 30, 2021, as well as $21,160.00 for reinstatement of the portion of the monthly fee attributable to the OptumServe testing site at Veteran's Memorial Hall inadvertently removed from the monthly fee schedule in Amendment #2, for a total additional amount not to exceed $29,790.00. After this Amendment #3 is approved, the total contract amount will be increased to an amount not to exceed $324,590.00.
