BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
Clients sometimes require placement in substance abuse residential treatment facilities as part of their treatment plan. Provider options are important to maintain client Freedom of Choice requirements and when it is determined to be conducive to client recovery to create distance away from negative influences that may exist within their home community. This contract provides licensed Women’s residential substance abuse treatment services for adult women. Individuals involved in this type of treatment are generally participants of court ordered mandated substance abuse treatment. The residential and other ancillary services provided through this contract are eligible for funding through Child Protective Services (CPS), Probation Dept. AB-109 funding and DMC-ODS reimbursement. This is a Fee for Service contract and reimbursement is dictated by use and as such the total dollar amount of this contract can range from zero to the maximum dollar amount of the contract.
OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT: The County Superior Court, Probation and CPS staffs often work in coordination with Substance Abuse Treatment staff in identifying clients who are appropriate for access to this level of residential care.
