BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
The Probation Department is requesting approval and authorization to sign a 36-month equipment lease agreement with U.S. Bank Equipment Finance and 36-month maintenance contracts with Monterey Bay Systems (MBS) for three (3) Konica Minolta BH 4052 copiers, one (1) of which will be utilized and cost shared with Juvenile Hall, and two (2) Konica Minolta BH 458e (BW) copiers. The monthly lease payment for all five (5) copiers totals $528.71. The maintenance contracts for the three 4052 copiers specifies a monthly fee of $42.75, and the two maintenance contracts for each of the 458e copiers specifies monthly fees of $22.00 each, for a combined total monthly maintenance cost of $86.75.
