BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
Health departments are required to provide Emergency Preparedness (EP) and Hospital Program Preparedness (HPP) programs and respond to emergencies such as the current COVID-19 global pandemic. Clinical consultant and contractor, Mary White, Pharm D, uses her clinical and pharmacist skills to provide emergency preparedness consultation and project management services to Public Health in accordance with EP and HPP grant work plans. Mary also leads the San Benito Opioid Task force and has secured 3 opioid grants on which she consults and provides project management and leadership to in efforts to address and mitigate the national and local opioid epidemic.
