BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
Clients sometimes require placement in substance abuse residential treatment facilities as part of their treatment plan. This contract provides local licensed Women’s Perinatal (women with children) Women’s (woman without children) residential substance abuse treatment services for San Benito County adults, pregnant women, women within 60 days of postpartum and women with or without children. Individuals involved in this type of treatment are generally participants of court ordered mandated substance abuse treatment. The residential and other ancillary services provided through this contract are eligible for funding through Child Protective Services (CPS), Probation Dept. AB-109 funding and DMC-ODS reimbursement. This is a Fee for Service contract and reimbursement is dictated by use and as such the total dollar amount of this contract can range from zero to the maximum dollar amount of the contract.
OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT:
The County Superior Court, Probation and CPS staffs often work in coordination with Behavioral Health’s Substance Abuse Treatment staff in identifying clients who are appropriate for access to this level of residential care.
