BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
On July 5, 2017, the Board approved a contract with SCI Consulting Group to provide professional special tax consulting and annual CFD levy administration services, including year-round administration of the County’s Community Facilities District No. 2015-01. Amendment #1 was in June 2018 to extend it until June 30, 2020 and to increase it by $19,750.00 and amendment #2 was in June 2020 to extend it to June 2021 and to increase it by $22,050.00.
The RMA desires to further amend the contract to extend it until June 30, 2023, add CFD 2018-01 and increase the budget by $44,100.00 for a total sum not to exceed $95,400.00. RMA currently cannot adequately carry out this function at the existing staffing level and relies heavily on SCI Consulting to provide the above professional services.
