BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
The County previously entered into contract with Renne Public Law Group on April 16, 2019, then three additional amendments, for a total previous not to exceed amount of $281,500. The firm represents the County in the matter of Rose et al. vs. County of San Benito, CU 17-0015. Please note that the firm has already reduced its bill by $5,292 in order to remain within outstanding contract amount. The County previously authorized the CAO to sign an amendment (No. 4) in the amount of $14,075, which has not been exercised, as it was determined that it will be necessary to have closer to $38,000 to finish the remaining work.
This contract also extends the termination date of June 30, 2020 to December 31, 2020.
