Accept bids received for the Homeless Services Center Phase III project; find Ron Paris Construction Co., Inc., as the lowest responsive, responsible bidder; award contract to Ron Paris Construction Co. in the amount of $824,915; approve contract and authorize the RMA Director to execute it upon receipt of all documents required in the Invitation for Bids; and authorize the RMA Director to issue change orders in the amount not to exceed $53,745.75, per Public Contract Code section 20142(b), effective June 16, 2020.

On February 18, 2020, the board approved the RMA to go out to public bid for the Homeless Services Center Phase III project.  The project went out to bid on February 21, 2020 and bids were received on March 18, 2020.  A total of four bids were received.  The bid amount of $824,915 was within the county estimate for the work.

1. Accept the bids received for the Homeless Services Center Phase III project package; and
2. Find Ron Paris Construction Co. as the lowest responsive responsible bidder; and
3. Award contract to Ron Paris Construction Co. in the amount of $824,915; and
