BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
San Benito County Behavioral Health clients sometimes require licensed residential care placement as the least restrictive supervised settings in lieu of independent living arrangements. Generally clients residing in this type of placement meet the criteria to also be LPS conserved because the client has been determined to be unable to independently provide for food, clothing and shelter as a result of a mental disorder. Davis Guest Home is a quality placement option for such clients. This particular placement can provide clients a high degree of staff support that includes implementing a treatment plan focused on assisting the client to develop their independent living skills and to someday become capable of living at a less restrictive level of care.
