BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
As the appointed Public Health Officer, Dr. Ghilarducci is currently providing public health officer services under his current contract which was approved in June 2019 for temporary health officer coverage. The current contract was intended for limited health officer services during periods of absence, vacation, sick leave or other absences for the previous health officer. The current contract ends on June 30, 2020 and has a not to exceed amount of $16,000. With the appointment of Dr. Ghilarducci as the full time public health officer his contract needs to be amended to extended the term of his contract an increase the contract amount.
