BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
Seneca is a family services agency that can provide intensive mental health treatment services for at risk children while those individuals are in foster care in San Benito County.
At the request of the County and with prior authorization approval, Seneca shall provide Intensive Home Based Services (IHBS) for foster children/youth on the County Behavioral Health Department’s behalf when they are residing in placements in San Benito County.
OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT:
Placements of children out of home generally occur through our County’s Child Protective Services, the Juvenile Probation Dept. or as a special education placement through the County Department of Education.
