BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
Public Health Services Vaccines for Children and Immunization program provides an essential safety net to children and adults in San Benito County. The Immunization Nurse position is contracted with an LVN for duties of coordinating the Vaccines For Children program and administering vaccines to children and adults. The LVN may carry out other LVN activities in communicable disease control and other functions as needed and as listed in the contract scope of work. This program and position is funded with State grant and Public Health Realignment funds.
This contract is incorporated in the FY 2020/2021 requested budget.
There is no impact to the County General Fund.
