BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
Michael Colantuono's office has held firm on the quote that they provided the County for this work, to perform work through trial in an not to exceed amount of 155,000. As such, the firm has written off more than $24,222 to remain within the existing scope of the contract.
However, the court requested additional briefing which was not included in the previous scope of expected work. As such, it is requested that the contract be increased in the additional amount of 18,000. The contract has not been amended to increase the total scope of the contract since March 2019. The August 2019 contract amendment was only to increase the term of the contract through June 30, 2020. This contract amendment further extends the term by an additional one year.
Therefore, this contract amendment expands the current budget by $18,000 to cover the additional expenses of supplemental briefing requested by the Court.
