BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
On June 13, 2017, the Board approved a contract with NV5 Inc. to provide support services for the consultant-engineering services, in an amount not to exceed $900,000.00. NV5 Inc. provides professional services for various County Public Works projects including general civil and transportation engineering, structural engineering, geotechnical engineering and materials testing, water resources engineering, electrical and control systems engineering, and surveying. The contract was amended in November 2018 to increase it by $650,000.00, then again in May 2019 to increase it by $950,000.00. The RMA desires to extend their contract until June 30, 2021 and to increase Amendment #2 by $1,005,000.00 for a total sum not to exceed $3,505,000.00. NV5 Inc. has been heavily utilized by the County for many of the Federal, State and locally funded road projects within the County limits. The County recovers the majority of the contract cost for work performed on Federal and State funded road projects as well as for land development projects within the County.

1. Approve Amendment #3 to extend the contract until June 30, 2021 in the not to exceed amount of $3,505,000.00 and authorize the Board Chair to sign it.
