Adopt Resolution, authorizing the Treasurer to temporarily transfer funds in his/her custody as may be necessary to provide funds for meeting the obligations incurred for maintenance purposes by any political subdivision whose funds are in his/her custody and are paid out solely through his/her office, pursuant to Article XVI Section 6 of the Constitution of the State of California.

BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
Pursuant to Section 25252 of the Government Code, it provides that the Board of Supervisors may, by resolution, authorize the auditor to transfer money from one fund to another if the Board of Supervisors has authority over each fund. This resolution is being requested of the Board of Supervisors to be approved should temporary loans be necessary for districts as we navigate COVID19. There are specific requirements each district's board must comply with when requesting such a temporary loan.
These temporary loans will be maintained and monitored by both the Treasurer and Auditor's office.
