BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:

The California Department of Health (CDPH), Division of Communicable Disease Control (DCDC) is granting local public health jurisdictions a one-time award to address local public health infrastructure and infectious disease prevention and control. These funds are to be granted in one lump sum and available for expenditure through June 30, 2023. San Benito County Public Health Services' award of funds is for $136,653.00

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that the Board:

1)  Accept the Infectious Disease Infrastructure Award from California Department of Public Health for $136,653.00; and

 

2)  Approve Grant Agreement No. 19-10865 with the California Department of Public Health and authorize the Director of Health & Human Services to sign the agreement and the contractor certification and any subsequent amendments to the grant agreement.
