Approve Contract Amendment No. 1 with Earth Systems Pacific to add additional on-call environmental review services including the review of studies, testing, assessments, and preparation of reports for the County’s Public Works Infrastructure Projects, extend the term from June 13, 2020 to June 13, 2022, and to increase compensation in an amount not to exceed $250,000.00.

BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
On June 13, 2017 the County entered into contract with Earth Systems Pacific to provide consulting-engineering and environmental services for the County’s Public Works Infrastructure Projects at a cost of $250,000.00.
Amendment for this contract is needed to include environmental reports to the services provided as well as extending the project term out to June 13, 2022, and increasing the compensation amount for an additional $250,000.00 for a total amount not to exceed $500,000.00.

Staff respectfully recommends Board to approve Contract Amendment No. 1 with Earth Systems Pacific to continue to provide consulting-engineering and environmental services for Public Works Infrastructure Projects, extend the contract term to June 13, 2022, and to increase compensation in the amount not to exceed $250,000.00, and authorize the Chair to sign it.
