Adopt Resolution Certifying County Maintained Road Mileage for year 2020.

Section 2121 of the Streets and Highways Code provides that in May of each year, each County shall submit to the Department of Transportation (CALTRANS) any additions to or exclusions from its mileage of maintained County roads, specifying the termini and mileage of each route added or excluded.  The Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution No. 2019-45 on May 21, 2019, certifying the updated County maintained roads with total mileage of 450.591 miles.  Since adoption of Resolution No. 2019-45, there have been neither additions to nor exclusions from the mileage of maintained County roads. CALTRANS requests that the County’s Board of Supervisors annually certify, by Resolution, the maintained mileage of County roadways irrespective of change in termini or mileage.

1. Adopt Resolution certifying the updated County maintained roads with total mileage of 450.591 miles; and

2. Order that a copy of the Resolution and all of its Exhibits shall be filed in the Office of the San Benito County Resource Management Agency; and

3. Order that the San Benito County Resource Management Agency, Public Works Division staff transmit a certified copy of this Resolution to CALTRANS.
