BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
The Thomas John McDowell and Victoria McDowell Charitable Remainder Unitrust, dated March7, 2005, and the McDowell Family Trust, dated February 16, 2004, (“OWNERS”), record owners of property identified as Assessor Parcel Nos. 013-150-017; 013-150-018; 013-150-024; and 013-150-025 near the Betabel Road interchange, applied to re-zone a 29-acre area encompassing parts of the four parcels with a C-1 Combining District overlay, for which, at OWNERS request, the COUNTY engaged the services of EMC Planning Group, Inc. and Thomas Law Group to assist the COUNTY in processing the application. As is the practice of the COUNTY when engaging consultants to process land use applications at the request of the applicants, the County Counsel's office negotiated a reimbursement and indemnification agreement to supplement the standard agreement included with the planning application. The agreement is submitted for Board of Supervisors' approval.
