BEHAVIORAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT - A. YAMAMOTO

Approve the addition of 6 Vehicles for County Behavioral Health through the San Benito County  Enterprise Fleet Management Auto Lease Program in an amount not to exceed $31,000.00; authorize the Behavioral Health director to sign any necessary documents for the delivery and use of six Vehicles for the Behavioral Health Department.

The Behavioral Health Department seeks approval for adding six vehicles to our existing leased vehicles fleet as a method of continuing our replacement and phasing out of our county owned vehicles that are ageing and requiring increasing levels of maintenance.

We have experienced that our participation in the County  Enterprise Fleet Management Auto Lease Program permits use of more reliable vehicles that can be used over time in a more maintenance and cost efficient manner then purchasing vehicles. The Behavioral health Dept. is a patriating member in the existing auto leasing program under the San Benito County Master lease with Enterprise Fleet Mgmt. Trust.

The Behavioral Health Department seeks approval for its addition to the San Benito County existing Enterprise Fleet Management Auto lease for an added six Behavioral Health Dept. vehicles to the lease agreement at a total cost of $150,000 for the term of five (5) years.

The Behavioral Health Department has existing FY 2019-20 approved budget allocated for purchase of a new vehicle that has not been purchased and those funds will be utilized to offset the Behavior Health Departments share of the lease agreement costs to sustain the proposed vehicle additions that will be added to the lease agreement.

1)  Approve the addition of the Behavioral Health Department to the existing San Benito County Enterprise Fleet Management Auto Lease Agreement and Quotes for an Additional six vehicles for Behavioral Health for an annual amount not to exceed $31,000 and;
