BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
The original jail expansion project scope included a complete emergency radio system. Through the bidding process, this portion of the project's scope was removed. During the construction phase, the system went through a design phase resulting in this contract for the installation of the Emergency Responder Radio System, in the amount of $72,500.00, to be paid from the AB 109 fund.
The Board previously entered into a contract with Dishnet at its September 10, 2019 meeting, but due to the need for an unforeseen piece of equipment with a very long lead time to order it, the contract expired and needs to be renewed.
