BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:

At the February 18, 2020 Board of Supervisors meeting, the Board requested that an item be agendized regarding the County's Travel Policy. This item, which details the current requirements for the County's Travel Policy, is thus presented for the Board's review. It includes an overview of the current Travel Policy which was most recently updated in May  2019. Topics covered include: 

 

  • Authorization Levels Needed For Travel 
  • Allowable Types of Transportation 
  • Expense Reimbursement for Ground Transportation  
  • Expense Reimbursement for Air Transportation
  • Meal Expenses 
  • Lodging Expenses
  • Miscellaneous Expenses 

 

The current Travel Policy is attached for reference.
