BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
On December 1, 2017 phase I of the new San Benito County Homeless Services Center opened to the public and phase II was completed on July 31, 2019. Phase III will added six (6) dormitory type facilities and all the associated services. The work will take place in the eastern most end of the existing facility. Bids will be due on March 18, 2020 and this project is scheduled to come back to the Board for consideration of contract award on April 7, 2020. Construction will take several months and be completed in September 2020.
