BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
Following the prior approval by the Board to enter into a purchase and sale agreement with Graniterock, and the County staff having performed County’s due diligence, the County now desires, subject to the Board approval, to proceed with the purchase in the amount of $450,000 (minus a charitable contribution of $65,000 for a net price of $385,000). Said price is subject to an increase of $11,500 should Graniterock demolish the existing building on the Property prior to the close of escrow.

Staff respectfully recommends that the Board:
Adopt Resolution approving the acquisition of the Real Property, approving the form of the deed for the Real Property, authorizing the CAO to accept the deed for the Real Property subject to CAO’s final approval, and authorizing the CAO to waive contingencies on behalf of the Board of Supervisors.
