BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
The Board originally approved a contract with Hibser Yamauchi Architects, Inc. (HY) for the Behavioral Health Center project on December 11, 2018. The current requested amendment is for $24,060.00 and will increase the contract amount to $346,491.00.
In the original proposal scope of work, HY was instructed by county staff to exclude IT design and the design for a trash enclosure. Both of these scopes of work are needed to complete the behavioral health center and need to be added and designed. The added scope of work will be included in the site work bid package which we are tentatively scheduled to be coming back to the board for approval to bid at the first meeting in January 2020.
