BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
This item was put on the agenda by the request of the Board Chairman Mark Medina.
The Resource Management Agency seeks to directly engage the legal services of Burke, Williams & Sorenson to assist the RMA with implementation and application of the County's General Plan. Partner Anna Shimko will serve as the firm's principal attorney and will work directly with RMA Director. The RMA Director will coordinate Ms. Shimko's services with the County Counsel. Services under this agreement shall not exceed $20,000 without further Board approval.
