Approve the appropriation increase to the Sheriff's Jail Budget in the amount of $50,000.00 for equipment and furnishings in the newly constructed classroom and housing areas. Costs will be offset with with Inmate Welfare Trust Fund (4/5 vote).

BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
Construction of the new jail facility is nearing completion and final decisions are being made on what will make the new classrooms safe and functional for inmates, staff and program leaders. Items include secure cabinetry and industrial grade tables and chairs.
Anticipated expenditures for the housing areas include, but are not limited to, washer and dryer and microwaves.
