BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
October 13, 2019 was the last day for the Governor to sign or veto bills from the 2019/2020 legislative session. Many bills from this session will affect San Benito County and will take effect on January 1, 2020. This presentation provides a brief overview of such bills with a heavy focus on housing legislation.
The attached list provides an overview and a link to the bill text for many of the bills affecting counties in the following categories: Agriculture, Environment, & Natural Resources; Administration of Justice; Health and Human Services; Government, Finance, and Administration; Transportation and Land Use; Voting and Elections; Housing; and Miscellaneous.
