BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
The San Benito County Free Library requests Board approval to close on Saturday, November 30th and Sunday, December 1st as the Library will also be closed on Thursday, November 28th and Friday, November 29th in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday and in accordance with County holiday closures. Given the proximity of these two days to Thanksgiving, they have historically been slow business days for the Library with minimal patron activity. These closures will provide a cost savings to the County while allowing Library staff to spend time with their families over the Thanksgiving holiday.
