BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:

The CCP-EX approved the annual CCP budget for the FY18/19 expenditures of the criminal Justice Realignment Allocation pursuant to AB109. The CCP budget includes the support and cost of one UNET officer from the City of Hollister's Police Department. The AB109 Criminal Justice Re-Alignment funding is intended to support impact of the realigned population, and develop systems and services in support of the entire adult criminal justice population.

It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors approve the payment of $155,000.00 from the Community Corrections Partnership (CCP) AB109 fund agreed upon by the San Benito County Community Corrections Partnership Executive Committee (CCP-EX) to the City of Hollister's Police Department for UNET officer services in FY18/19. (4/5 vote)
