BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:

The Rural County Representatives of California (RCRC) is an organization comprised of 36 counties, including San Benito County. They advocate for policies on behalf of the rural counties in the state. The Board of Directors is made up of a Supervisor from each of the 36 counties. Currently, Supervisor Anthony Botelho serves as San Benito County's delegate and Supervisor Jaime De La Cruz serves as the alternate. This agenda item would also designate Supervisor Peter Hernandez as an additional alternate on the board.
