BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
California Code of Regulations, Title 17, Section 7605 requires annual testing of all backflow prevention devices (BPDs) in public water systems. It also requires the repair or replacement of BPDs that are found to be defective. According to the most recent test, there are 69 BPDs that currently need to be replaced in the CSA #31 - Stonegate water system.
