BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:

In accordance with San Benito County Code 3.01.005, the office hours and days of operation for county offices for the transaction of business shall be fixed by resolution of the Board of Supervisors.  This is a request for closures of both Public Health Services and Environmental Health offices at 351 Tres Pinos Road, to conduct a mass influenza community vaccination clinic at the Veterans Memorial Building, 649 San Benito St.   ALL Public Health Services' teams and employees are necessary to carry out this infectious disease prevention effort. 

Telephone voice messages at both locations will explain to callers that offices will be closed and in the case of a Public Health emergency and callers will be directed to the county dispatcher who will alert on-call response staff. Signs will be posted at each location explaining the closure and the return to normal business hours on October 30, 2019. Business partners will be notified of the closure in advance in order to prepare and plan for any urgent needs they may encounter.
