Approve Amendment #4 to the contract with Bracewell Engineering to continue  water and wastewater services for County Service Areas (CSAs) 22 Cielo Vista, 31 Stonegate, and 50 Dunneville that will:  (1) extend the Contract to June 30, 2020; and (2) add additional compensation in an amount not to exceed $173,096.00 for the extended period.

The Resource Management Agency advertised a Request for Proposals (RFP) for County Service Area (CSA) Water and Wastewater Services (RFP No. PWP-1902). Two proposals were received, but neither one met the requirements of the RFP and were disqualified. The County currently contracts with Bracewell Engineering to provide water and wastewater services to CSA 22 Cielo Vista, CSA 31 Stonegate and CSA 50 Dunneville. In order to continue having the necessary services provided to the CSAs, staff recommends that the Board approve an extension to the Bracewell Engineering Contract for one more year. The County will then advertise another RFP for CSA water and wastewater services in the coming fiscal year.

Approve Amendment to Contract #4 with Bracewell Engineering to continue  water and wastewater services for County Service Areas (CSAs) 22 Cielo Vista, 31 Stonegate, and 50 Dunneville that will:  (1) extend the Contract to expire on June 30, 2020; and (2) add additional compensation in an amount not to exceed $173,096.00 for the extended period.

2. Authorize RMA Director to approve contract amendments up to 10% of the total contract amount.
