Approve contract with SWCA Environmental Consultants to perform environmental review services for the preparation of the Initial Study for the proposed use permit and building project at 1520 Sunnyslope Road (County Planning File PLN 180035) for the term of June 25, 2019 through December 31, 2019, in an amount not to exceed $14,284.00.

A Reimbursement Agreement with the project applicant, Michael Zangara, will be considered by the Board of Supervisors prior to the start of this Contract. The Reimbursement Agreement is for full reimbursement of County costs related to environmental review of the proposed use permit and building project at 1520 Sunnyslope Road. An Initial Study will be completed to evaluate the potential environmental impacts and propose any mitigation measures if needed for this project.

The proposed project, under County Planning file PLN180035, is for a church sanctuary building with associated parking and related appurtenances on a 3¼-acre property at 1520 Sunnyslope Road (Assessor’s Parcel Number 020-120-140) with existing religious worship facilities.

1. Approve a Contract with SWCA Environmental Consultants to perform environmental review services for the preparation of the Initial Study for the proposed use permit and building project at 1520 Sunnyslope Road (County Planning File PLN 180035) for the term of June 25, 2019 through December 31, 2019, in an amount not to exceed $14,284.00.
2. Authorize RMA Director to extend the Contract for an additional two-year period if necessary and approve amendments of up to 10% of the Contract amount.
