Approve Budget Adjustments for Fiscal Year End 18/19. Approval of various budget adjustments are needed by the Board of Supervisors related to the closing of FY18/19.

BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:

The adopted budget for fiscal year 18/19 included estimates for departmental expenditures including cost plan, services and supplies, salaries, and other expenditures. End of year budget adjustments to recognize actual expenditures for department program needs, cost plan final reports, and general operations are now required. Overall most adjustments do not reflect an increase to appropriations, but interdepartmental transfers.

 

The adjustments that reflect increases to appropriations are  Aid to Indigents (increase due to passage of AB1811), RMA -  Land Development Projects (increase in revenues matched increase in expenditures), and RMA - Public Works (reversal of vacancy budgeting Q1 adjustment).
