BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
The HOME Resource Center has been without laundry facilities since the grand opening of December 2017. With the completion of phase ll, a laundry facility is now available for the guests of the HOME Resource Center. It is expected that the laundry facility will be used regularly by guests at the HOME Resource Center.
Staff is recommending that the lease agreement is approved between the County of San Benito and Wet and Dry LLC to provide laundry equipment for the HOME Resource Center for the period of July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2024 and authorize the HHSA Director or Deputy Director to sign said agreement on behalf of the County. Under the lease agreement, the County will receive 25% of the gross income from laundry equipment if the monthly gross collection is less than $449.000 per month. If the monthly gross collection is more than $449.00, the County will then receive 35% of the gross income from the laundry equipment.
