Approve contract renewal with Kings View Corp. for MIS (Management Information System) for the period of July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2022, for a total contract amount of $682,180.00.

In November 2005 we initiated our conversion process to a new MIS (management information system) with the Kings View Corp. as the provider of those services. This Contractor has a history of providing Management Information Systems (MIS) for County Behavioral Health Departments in counties throughout our state. Our experience with this vendor has progressed well. Continuing with the services of providing our departments MIS system is an essential service to maintain the Behavioral Departments operations. Our computerized management information system processes utilize the Kings View-Cerrner MIS for Mental Health and Substance Abuse accounting and billing tasks associated with MediCal, private insurance, private pay, State required reports for the Client Services Information System (CSI), explanation of benefits reports (EOB), Statistical info. required for Cost Reporting, State required tracking of statistics for the MHSA performance outcomes measures, tracking of client appointments, client scheduling, reports related to tracking of staff use of time, number of services delivered, production of electronic client health records, etc. This contract spans multiple years that include (2) two subsequent annual automatic renewals subject to cost increases each year and a setup and conversion fee to a new data program system (Millennium Domain) that occurs during the span of the term of the contract.

1.  Approve the attached contract renewal for the term of FY 2019-2020, FY 2020-2021 and FY 201-2022 with the Kings View Corporation for a contract term grand total of $682,180 inclusive of (2) two subsequent annual automatic renewals subject to cost increases each year and setup and conversion fee to a new data program system (Millennium Domain) that occurs during the span of the term of the contract.   

2.  Authorize the Chair of the County Board of Supervisors to sign said agreement
