BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
The Engineer's Report for the County Mosquito Abatement program is prepared annually and determines the assessment rate needed to fund this program. For the upcoming fiscal year, the Engineer's Report is recommending the assessment remain at $11.22 per single family equivalent. After discussion, the Board will need to adopt a Resolution of Intention to levy the assessment for FY2019/2020. The Board will also need to preliminarily accept the Engineer's Report and schedule a Public Hearing for July 23, 2019.
The anticipated revenue and expense has been budgeted in the Mosquito Abatement Program Budget for FY2019/2020.
