BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
County Service Area #36 (“CSA #36”) was formed in 1990 to provide paramedic services throughout the County of San Benito.
Pursuant to Government Code §25214 and San Benito County Code §19.07.004, the San Benito County Emergency Medical Services Agency filed an annual written report of benefit charges to be collected in FY 2019-20 for the provision of Emergency Medical Services and Advanced Life Support (paramedic services) within CSA #36. The recommended annual rate shall remain at $20.00 per Benefit Assessment Unit (“BAU”) and shall be effective for FY 2019-20 to fund CSA #36 (approximately $491,632.00).
Upon conclusion of the hearing and no objection to revise, change, reduce or modify, the Board of Supervisors may adopt a resolution accepting the annual report and adopting the benefit assessment charges set forth therein.
