BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
The County Counsel's Office currently has a contract with LexisNexis at a cost of $933 per month. This contract is set to expire on May 31, 2019. The County has six (6) "Government Professional Users" (attorneys), each of whom is allocated up to three (3) "Support Staff Users" at no additional cost. Additionally, all users have access to the add on "CA LexisNexis Forms". Amendment No. 4 will continue all of these services and increase the cost to $980 per month.
Of the six (6) "Government Professional Users", five (5) are attorneys in the County Counsel's Office and one (1) is a fraud investigator with Health and Human Services Agency. HHSA previously agreed to journal entry the cost for the additional "Government Professional User" ID to the County Counsel's Office. This amount is $155.50 per month and will increase to $163.33 per month.
