Sacramento for Whole Person Care Training's in an Annual not to Exceed Amount of
$35,000 for Fiscal Year 2019-2020.

BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
The
California Small Counties Collaborative (CSCC) for Whole Person Care
consisting of Mariposa and San Benito Counties has chosen the Westin of
Sacramento as the venue for collaborative trainings. As the lead entity
for the CSCC it is San Benito's responsibility to procure the venue.
Contracts for each individual session total approximately $8,750. The cost
of the hotel rooms are paid by each attending county staff separately and the training costs are
shared by the counties and reimbursed to San Benito via the miscellaneous invoicing process. Mariposa’s share, per MOU, is 43%.
A Sample of Westin's contract is attached. Exact dates for FY19/20 have not yet been determined but will occur on a quarterly basis. The same contractual request was approved for this year on June 12,2018.
The
cost of the trainings is incorporated in the 2019-2020 requested budget and
there is no impact to the County General Fund.
