BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
This project was initiated due to the roadway wash out at the south end of –Lovers Lane Road, 0.91 Miles N of Shore Road to 1.18 Miles N of Shore Road. Two residents notified the County RMA Public Works Division of ponding water and roadway damage/settlement on this segment of Lovers Lane Road. On February 15, 2019, RMA Public Works placed a temporary asphalt plug in this roadway segment.
The scope of this project includes raising the profile of this roadway segment by removing, replacing, and installing roadway culverts under existing driveways along the west side roadway ditch to aid the drainage of this roadway segment.
The plans and specifications for these projects are now complete and presented for your approval and authorization to advertise for bids. Bids will be due June 20, 2019 and are scheduled to come back to the Board for award on July 23, 2019. Construction is to begin in August and to last one month.
